On the occasion of Dr. Prabha Mallikarjun's 50th birthday, the SS Care Trust Student Wing marked the day with Roots of Grace, an environmental initiative conducted simultaneously across all 10 institutions under the Student Wing.
Following the concept “One Student, One Plant”, each college planted 50 indoor plants, creating a collective of 500 plants. Every sapling was adopted by a student volunteer, who pledged to nurture it and pass on the responsibility to the next volunteer on the same day next year, so that the commitment grows from one generation to the next.
The names of all 500 volunteers were brought together in a commemorative portrait and presented to Dr. Prabha Mallikarjun as a symbol of their collective commitment. Birthday wishes from students across all participating institutions were also woven into a tribute video.
