The SS Care Trust Student Wing brings students from colleges across Davangere together to serve the community. Student volunteers organise and run drives, camps and awareness programmes, from blood donation and cleanathons to first-aid training, and support the Trust's health camps on the ground.
It is a space to build leadership and teamwork while serving others, led by an elected team of office bearers and committee members who take their oath each year at the investiture ceremony.

3 September 2025AARAMBH — Investiture Ceremony
The SS Care Trust Student Wing ushered in a new chapter with AARAMBH, the Investiture Ceremony, marking the beginning of another year of leadership, commitment and service. The newly elected office bearers and committee members took the oath of office, pledging to uphold the values of the organisation and work tirelessly towards meaningful social impact.

10 September 2025Assistive Devices Assessment Camp
SS Care Trust, in association with ALIMCO CRC, Davanagere, and the Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, Government of Karnataka, organised an Assistive Devices Assessment Camp at Bapuji Bank Samudaya Bhavana, Davangere. The camp assessed the needs of persons with disabilities and senior citizens above 60 years of age, so that each person could receive the assistive devices that suit their requirements.

19 – 30 September 2025Drop of Hope — Blood Donation Drive
Drop of Hope, the Student Wing's first Grand Calendar event, was organised across 10 institutions to promote voluntary blood donation. The campaign built awareness through motivational talks by Dr. Prabha Mallikarjun and the Principals, classroom presentations, WhatsApp campaigns and informative posters, encouraging students to become lifesavers.

26 November 2025Wall of Gratitude Inauguration
A platform to celebrate appreciation took shape with the inauguration of the Wall of Gratitude. Dr. Prabha Mallikarjun and Shri S. S. Mallikarjun formally inaugurated the initiative by placing the first Gratitude Leaves on the Wall of Gratitude Tree.

6 December 2025Walkathon for Organ Donation Awareness & Nasha Mukt Bharat
The SS Care Trust Student Wing volunteered at the Walkathon organised by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), promoting awareness about organ donation and Nasha Mukt Bharat. Students, faculty members, healthcare professionals and the general public took part, united for two important causes.

20 January 2026Chaka Chak Davanagere — Intercollegiate Cleanathon
Chaka Chak Davanagere was an intercollegiate cleanathon organised by the SS Care Trust Student Wing in association with Vahini NGO and the Municipal Corporation, Davanagere, at Kunduvada Lake. It brought together students from 10 colleges and turned a routine cleanliness drive into a collective movement for environmental responsibility.

26 January 2026Launch of the Student Wing Calendar 2026
The 2026 Calendar of the SS Care Trust Student Wing was officially unveiled, marking a milestone in the Student Wing's journey. The occasion included a tribute to Dr. Shamanuru Shivashankarappa, honouring his visionary leadership and his contributions to society and education.

Jeeva Rakshana — Basic Life Support & First Aid Awareness
Medical emergencies often demand immediate action, and Jeeva Rakshana was envisioned to ensure that students are prepared to respond with confidence. Organised by SS Care Trust, the Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Awareness Programme reached six institutions: Bapuji MBA, AVK College for Women, DRM Science College, BIET, ARG College of Arts and Commerce and R.L. Law College.

The Duggamma Jatre Reel Contest brought the spirit of Davangere's celebrations to the digital world. Organised by Team Prabha Vikas in collaboration with the SS Care Trust Student Wing, the contest invited students, content creators and the public to capture the devotion, traditions, cultural heritage and festive energy of the Jatre through creative Instagram reels.
