The Duggamma Jatre Reel Contest brought the spirit of Davangere's celebrations to the digital world. Organised by Team Prabha Vikas in collaboration with the SS Care Trust Student Wing, the contest invited students, content creators and the public to capture the devotion, traditions, cultural heritage and festive energy of the Jatre through creative Instagram reels.
Participants turned moments from the celebrations into stories shared across social media. The Student Wing supported the initiative through promotion, participant coordination and event execution.
Following evaluation, the top three entries were selected and are set to be recognised with cash prizes. The contest encouraged young people to experience, celebrate and preserve Davangere's cultural heritage in a language that speaks to their generation.
