Medical emergencies often demand immediate action, and Jeeva Rakshana was envisioned to ensure that students are prepared to respond with confidence. Organised by SS Care Trust, the Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Awareness Programme reached six institutions: Bapuji MBA, AVK College for Women, DRM Science College, BIET, ARG College of Arts and Commerce and R.L. Law College.
Training sessions were held over two days each month at the Education Hall, where expert medical professionals gave hands-on demonstrations in CPR and essential emergency response. The Student Wing coordinated the programme and volunteered throughout.
The initiative benefited nearly 350 students, equipping them with practical life-saving skills and the confidence to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
